  18. This bibliography offers a short list of recent information resources
  19. that will help the network novice become familiar with the Internet,
  20. including its associated networks, resources, protocols, and history.
  21. This FYI RFC includes references to free sources of information
  22. available on-line as well as traditional publications.  A short
  23. section at the end includes information for accessing the on-line
  24. files.  This FYI is intentionally brief so it can be easily used as a
  25. handout by user services personnel.  This document is based upon the
  26. work of the User Documents Working Group in the User Services Area of
  27. the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF).

  29. This memo provides information for the Internet community.  It does
  30. not specify an Internet standard.  Distribution of this memo is
  31. unlimited.

  33. This announcement is sent to the IETF list and the RFC-DIST list.
